Near the end of the book the same scene of Max is shown again. A bit later the character Max is limping along the snowy ground, and there's a trail of blood behind him. The only blood is where Navin gets a cut on his hand. The transformation may be scary.Īmulet, Book 3: The Cloud Searchers is less scary than the previous books. At the end of the book, Luger turns into a big monster. The characters Luger, Trellis, and the Elf King may be scary.

There are lots of good messages.Īmulet, Book 2: The Stonekeeper's Curse is a great book. The character Trellis may be scary to young kids (At one point he eats a small, strange creature but we don't see him when he does this). Near the end the Arachnopod is split in two but there's no blood.

Also a young boy gets stuck in the Arachnopod but then gets out. Also, the mom gets stuck inside a slimy, tentacled creature called an Arachnopod. Later in the book, another character dies of a disease (You don't know it's a disease until you read book four). The dad dies in the crash he's stuck in the car, which is right next to a cliff, and it falls with him in it. The mom's nose gets hurt and blood can be seen. In the prologue a mom, dad, and their daughter are in a car crash. Okay this is my review on books 1-8 so be prepared for a long review.Īmulet, Book 1: The Stonekeeper is a great book, but it can be scary.
